We often call long rod sprayer as throat or oral sprayer based on its application.
The rod can be short or long as requried by different application. Short rod is used to spray mouth, and long rod can insert deeper to spray the throat.
If the rod is long type, the end may attach the bottle body if the bottle is big. To reduce the pressure between the rod end and the bottle body, wider rotating block need be used according to the diameter of the bottle body. However, some customers accept the narrow rotating block because the rod can also be in inclined position to avoid such pressure, but the dust cap can not be capped (see section Type of Actuator in Pharmaceutical Application).
If the rod is short, the rod end doesn’t reach the bottle body. Therefore, the above pressure doesn’t exit. The rotating block doesn’t need be wider to fit big bottle.
