Preservative Free (PF) Sprayer

Compared with general sprayer, PF sprayer contains a filter membrane in the gas balancing channel to stop microorganisms going into the bottle. However, outer appearances of general sprayer and PF sprayer don’t have obvious difference.

PF Sprayer, also called as PF pump, is most often used for nasal spray, but is also used for throat spray. The design fo PF sprayer is to stop microorganism to go into the bottle so that the preservative doesn’t need be used in the medicine liquid. PF sprayer is necessary for those medicine liquid need be stored and used under strict condition, but for normal medicine liquid, PF sprayer is over quality.

The market of PF sprayer is not so big as normal sprayer. Currently, only a few companies produce PF sprayer. These companies include Aptar, Aero Pump, Silgan, etc.
